ladogman asked:
I remember reading about a place where they have a bunch of jumpers/bouncers set up. You could have your kid’s birthday party there, and the kids could go jump in any of the jumpers they wanted to. Of course, I lost the info when it comes time to use it. Does anyone know of such a place, especially in the South bay area? Thanks.

SLF asked:
There’s been a lot of publicity recently in the UK about how parents are spending more and more on their children’s parties, and are having to keep up with the Joneses by laying on more extravagant events and supplying more expensive goody bags. Do you think this is true, and if so what’s the cause of it, do kids really want lavish parties or is this just the parents trying to outdo each other, how much do parties cost you, how does it affect you and the parties you organise, and is there any way (or wish) to return to good old-fashioned parties that don’t cost too much?

texas mom asked: It is a school rule you must invite the entire class if inviting anyone. So I invited 18 kids from my sons class to his birthday party. We are having it at our house tomorrow & we rented a water slide. No one has RSVPd, which if no one from school came, we still have a bunch of other kids coming (family & friends).
I am just wondering of those of you who have invited your childs entire class how many actually showed?
My kids go to public schools. It is a rule so other kids are not left out.

I just found out that a little girl had a party and did not invite my child. We had had this same little girl to every birthday party my child had for the last four years, shouldn’t it be reciprocal?
I always have my child invite the kids who invited her. Am I wrong?
Oh these are third graders
I should add I am pretty good friends with the mom and the child is one of my childs bests friends. My child is deeply hurt. At my childs birthday we even invited her little sister. And my daughters friend has come to our house for numerous playdates and only been asked once over to their house. If this was a child who my child was not that close to I would not have a problem, but it is one of her closest friends.
