My friend is planning a bachelorette party by herself. Is it okay for say that everyone that rides the party bus must pay 10 bucks in order to help her pay for the bus. We need transportation like a party bus, but how does she make it clear to everyone that they need to pitch in.

Hence, I love party planning. It’s like decorating to me, but you get to be more dramatic and change it often. I’ve done a few bridal showers and a few parties, but on a small scale.

Can you make a living at it, or is it more of a hobby? And do you have to be in a large city? I am in a midsize but growing town.

There is no Chucky Cheese or Pizza Hut anywhere close to where I live and I refuse to have a party out of town. I think that’s rude to expect people to drive far.

I know there is a market for this, but I am not sure how to make money doing the job. Things I have to keep in mind are - budget for items needed for party, possible gas mileage if it is outside of a certain range…etc. Does anyone already have a business in this field or any ideas of how to charge for the party, but still receive a portion of the profits? I welcome the ideas, I’ve wanted to do this for a while and now I have the time to pursue it.
