Party Planning
?Raven asked:

My 6 year old son has decided he wants a party for his 7th birthday. I have no idea how to go about this. We can’t do it at home, don’t have the room. We’ve always gone to theme parks to celebrate birthdays! Does anyone have any good websites to recommend for party planning? Do you have any recommendations in general?
There is no Chucky Cheese or Pizza Hut anywhere close to where I live and I refuse to have a party out of town. I think that’s rude to expect people to drive far.

Do you have to be certified or have a license to start a party planning business?

I Got a St. Patty’s Baby! asked:

My best friend and I are thinking about starting our own business. We are both busy moms and we also love to plan parties among our friends, so what better job to have than something we both love to do? Our main concern is if we need to have any kind of license or be registered anywhere to start servicing customers!

Thank you all so much!

Party Planning
On the Move! asked:

I know there is a market for this, but I am not sure how to make money doing the job. Things I have to keep in mind are - budget for items needed for party, possible gas mileage if it is outside of a certain range…etc. Does anyone already have a business in this field or any ideas of how to charge for the party, but still receive a portion of the profits? I welcome the ideas, I’ve wanted to do this for a while and now I have the time to pursue it.
