Party Planning

I am 22 years old and I have a passion for organizing and planning events. I have no professional experience, just personal. Right now I am an art major and I’m not sure when I go to a 4 year school if I should go into Hotel Management or maybe I wouldn’t even have to do that? Any advice please??

  1. Write up a business plan and do some research on the party planning industry. Go to your search box and type in party planning business opportuniy and it should pull up several links on how to get started. I hope this was helpful.

  2. Try interning with a wedding planner/event planner. Typically if you intern with them x amount of time they’ll hire you on. Do a search online and email them.
