My husband does the cake and decorations do the birthday gift shopping we dont have any parties other than birthdays since our kids are still young so this works out well.

My hubby helps with the baking and help with decorations do the baking and makes well earned cuppa at the end.

My daughter turned last week and she definately had hand in deciding what to do this year we ended up negotiating on sleepover with friends from school because.

About 50-50 between spouse and I, but I do major logistics such as securing a location and entertainment and she does invites and such.
